商標的審查，因其手續繁雜，故費時多日，除就所指定的商品與服務審查外，還需進行前案圖樣註冊資料的檢索及審查有無法律規定不准註冊之事由。除此之外，每個國家的審查時間，也會依各國審查機制不同，或是申請量的大小，而有所不同，比如，在台灣，大約為5-8個月；在中國大陸，大約為8-16個月；美加區域，至少10個月以上；在東南亞區域，審查時間更加緩慢，有的國家，如越南、泰國等，甚至仍在審查2015至2016年間的申請案。因此，呼籲各大企業們在為產品鋪路的同時，也請將商標審查時程納入考慮範圍，別因此打亂了您的產品規劃。
